Material and process

Our natural voile sarongs are handmade in Indonesia from a mix of cotton and wood pulp which produces a soft, fine and lightweight fabric. The sarongs are printed with hand carved wooden blocks using traditional printing methods of batiking - an ancient art form of Indonesia, using wax resistant dye on fabrics. Each sarong is 1.2m wide, which is determined by the size of the weaving loom and cut and hemmed to 1.8m long, which means they can be worn in a variety of ways to suit any size, shape and age.

Hand wash or machine washed at 30°.
Do not tumble dry, air naturally.
